Bronze-eyed God of woodland wilds
Green-skinned God of living waters
I honor your presence,
You who dream between two worlds
Double-lived deity of fecund places
I hear your song in the springtime,
Courting the jewel-hued ladies.
I see the jellied strings of your seed
Capturing rainbows in quiet pools.
Your magic dives deep,
Beyond myth and legend
Past fairytale to Truth.
I will not kiss you.
I would not want you to turn into a human prince.
I love you just the way you are.
